The Twins are a German pop duo from Frankfurt. They were formed in 1980 by the producers and songwriters Dieter Bohlen and Thomas Anders, who were also members of the successful band Modern Talking. The Twins released their first album, "Passion Factory", in 1981 and went on to become one of the most successful German pop acts of the 1980s. Their catchy synth-pop sound and energetic performances earned them a loyal fan base in Germany and beyond. Some of their popular songs include "Face to Face - Heart to Heart", "Ballet Dancer", "Love System" and "Not the Loving Kind". The duo disbanded in 1993 but reunited in 2003 and have continued to perform and release new music sporadically ever since.
